Pisa, Italy | EU-funded Doctoral Network project on implantable neuroprostheses to restore hand functions after spinal cord injury (SCI).

• Engineered real-time intracortical decoding algorithms to simultaneously decode arm and hand kinematics, pushing towards high-dimensional motor control restoration in tetraplegia patients.
• Co-authored clinical BCI pipeline with Prof. Silvestro Micera (EPFL/SSSA), contributing to a preprint demonstrating single-finger movement restoration via targeted nerve stimulation.
• Designed automated Python data pipelines to clean, process, and extract statistical features from multi-area, high-density electrophysiological (ExG) recordings.
